Flying Sailboats

The Vertical 'Zep'Lin' Electric Car Uses a Rudder to Maneuver

Look into the future and this is what you might see: the Zep’Lin electric car. In other words, you might see cars that look like sailboats flying through the air. Designed for Renault by Damien Grossemy, the Zep’Lin electric car is a concept vehicle that uses elements from the sailboat.

Crafted with a vertical structure, Zep’Lin electric car uses a rudder system which allows it to change direction quickly and tilt towards the sun in order to utilize its solar panels (located on top of the vehicle) more effectively. Watch the video to see how the Zep’Lin electric car will work.
