Handmade Artisanal Leather Shoes

The Yuketen Fall/Winter 2019 Capsule Nod to Traditional Moccasins

The Yuketen Fall/Winter 2019 collection is handcrafted as per usual, with each pair made in Maine-based factories taking up to 96-120 hours to create. Yuki Matsuda, the founder of the label spent a lot of time traveling across America and building close relationship with leather artisans and native American communities.

The seasonal designs pay homage to everything he gathered and learned. There looks are reminiscent of traditional moccasins, boots, chukkas, and low-cut loafers. Some of the standout design elements in the latest collection include articulated midsoles, serrated collars, layered kilties, and tanned leather laces. One of the standout silhouettes in the capsule is the Main Guide Ox, which is fully hand sewn to give off an authentic energy.
