Futuristic Wintertime Editorials

The Glamour UK Your New Season Edit Photoshoot is Layered

The Glamour UK August 2014 Your New Season Edit provides a look ahead at winter via model Karol Santos. Photographer Justin Borbely captured Santos within warm, oversize apparel, an interesting juxtaposition given the editorial's publication within the magazine's summer issue.

Stylist Natalie Hartley executed these frumpy yet chic looks. Knit sweaters were matched with thick hats, knee-length coats, waffle sweaters and large billowing pants, all of which were embellished with bold patterns, aggressive lettering and feathered sleeves.

Hair expert Nao Kawakami stuck to the basics with sleek side parts, low buns and straight middle parts. Given the dark shades of Santos' hair and lipstick, she at times took on an eccentric gothic appeal via her cosmetics and slick carefree tresses.
