IFF Has Added Four Cultures to Its YO-MIX PRIME Lineup

International Flavors & Fragrances (IFF) has introduced four new cultures to its YO-MIX PRIME line, which consists of unique additives formulated for yogurt makers. According to the company, the new cultures will offer yogurt manufacturers full control over the acidity of their products, allowing them to create yogurts with superior texture and quality, as well as with a stable and consistent pH balance.

The new offerings include Yo-Mix Prime 801 and 802 cultures in a freeze-dried format and Yo-Mix Prime 830 and 840 cultures in a frozen format.

"These new cultures deliver the same benefits as the original series, but the new texture modulation toolbox will offer producers a flexible and easy way to experiment with different textures based on what their customers prefer," said Charlotte Debare, global product line manager for Yo-Mix at IFF.
