Groovy Yoko Ono Art Spreads Peace and Love Through a Magical Plant

In the sixties Yoko Ono and John Lennon were the poster child's of the hippy movement and spent their time promoting peace and love, so it's no surprise that the latest Yoko Ono art piece is about love. The smart piece of art, entitled 'Grow With Me' consists of an aluminium can which contains a rather magical bean. The 'swordbean' seed has been etched by Yoko Ono with a laser so that when this plant blooms, the word Love will be revealed.

Even if you're not the most green fingered of people - the sprout will grow within two to three days, even without any care. When the seed first sheds its skin it will be colored yellow but sunlight will quickly change the color to green. Watch as leaves sprout out of the plant and the bean, bearing the word love grows upwards. The 'Grow With Me' magic can is available for purchase at London's Serpentine Gallery. "Peace and love, Peace and love" as Ringo would say. Photo Credits: designboom, serpentinegallery.org
