Starbucks Japan Now Serves a Lemon Yogurt Fermentation Frappuccino

Starbucks Japan is now expanding its menu with a first-of-its-kind yogurt frappuccino to combine Western and Japanese fermented ingredients. The 'Lemon Yoghurt Fermentation Frappuccino' features not just one but three kinds of fermented ingredients in the form of yogurt, cheese and amazake, a beneficial Japanese drink that's made with fermented rice and traditionally served hot.

The all-new Lemon Yoghurt Fermentation Frappuccino aims to highlight what makes Japanese food culture so unique. The drink features a base of Starbucks' original yogurt blend that's accented by crunchy pieces of dried cheese, baked cheese and biscuits, which helps to juxtapose the creamy texture of the fresh and creamy lemon-flavored beverage.

This yogurt frappuccino from Starbucks is only set to be offered for a limited time this summer and will be exclusively available in a tall size.
