C2H4's founder Yixi Chen introduces a new footwear design to join the Fall/Winter 2020 collection with a collaborative drop alongside Nike. The duo draw inspiration from the upcoming C2H4 collection and detail concepts across the Nike SB Dunk Low sneakers.
The focus on the shoe spotlights punk culture predominantly and through design, it is translated with metal studs and musical motifs. The sneakers sit on top of a gum sole unit and a white midsole foundation as Chen constructs the upper with black suede. It is then adorned in detailing that take the brand's garment scraps as a sensibly environmentally friendly approach. It is repurposed across the toe box with metal studs detailing the vamp and across the entire upper.
