Glenn Sloggett's Series of Worn-Out Objects Will Leave You Heartbroken

If you were the kind of person who cried during Toy Story 3 at the thought of all those toys being abandoned and forgotten, then grab some tissues because Glenn Sloggett photographs of worn-out objects are going to get you crying all over again.

In Glenn Sloggett series of photographs entitled 'Decrepit,' he turns his camera lens on those objects "around us that are weakened and worn out." These photographs stir emotions in the viewer and seem to comment on the relationships we have with objects. Though inanimate, these worn-out objects appear sad and lonely; having served their purpose they are removed or replaced never to used or cared for again.

The first photograph shown is called 'The Bride' and it won Glenn Sloggett the prestigious Josephine Ulrick & Win Schubert Photography Award.
