This World Cup LEGO Series Recreates Famous Moments

Highsnobiety continues its 'World Cup Month' with a World Cup LEGO series that pays tribute to famous moments throughout the tournament's history. The series comes hot off the heels of another project, which featured recreations of iconic bands and streetwear brands by Adly Syairi Ramly. Now, the Malaysian LEGO aficionado is back with this inventive new collection.

The eight historic moments include the Zinedine Zidane Headbutt (2006), the Nigel de Jong "Kung Fu" Kick (2010), Maradona's Hand of God (1986), David Beckham's Red Card (1998) and Robin Van Persie's Header (2014).

It might be hard to recognize these moments just by looking at their LEGO reincarnations. However, if you're a soccer super fan and dedicated World Cup viewer (even of the reruns -- the oldest "moment" included is Pele's Jump of Joy in 1970) you might be able to identify them with ease.
