Haunting Forest Photography

This Woods Photo Series will Take You on a Trip Through the Forest

Imagine walking through the woods at the split second that the sun sets and the warmth and rays melt into the ground leaving just a slither of light for you to see the wilderness surrounding you; this is what I feel the photographer was trying to emotionally portray to the audience when I look at this unique woods photo series.

Applying the triptych photography technique to create this poignantly haunting series, photographer Jürgen Heckel does a beautiful job creating a whole story line using only his images in this woods photo series. Heckel does this by placing three images next to one another to create this mystical and whimsical affect. What makes this series so moving is the choice of tones, colors and delicate textures that the photographer chose to capture.
