Vollebak Introduces its Wooden Jacket Redefining Textiles

London-based brand Vollebak is known for its sportswear and adventure apparel and its latest piece with an impressive build is the Wooden jacket. Just as the namesake suggests, the extraordinary design takes what seems to be an impossible material for clothing and redefines the notion entirely.

To create the Wooden Jacket, the team turned to a tree-extracting wood -- this is a natural material with plenty of sources. However, it is not been a wood used in textiles so the result is merely a prototype of a wooden jacket. The images highlight the jacket and it is seen with a hood and two large pockets at the front for more function. There are also crosshatched small blocks of wood at a closer look.
