Tinker Hatfield and Nike Launch a Special Women in Flight Sneaker

Nike's Senior Executive Assistant Kendal Bagby works in collaboration with Nike's Senior Innovator Elizabeth Brock-Jones and iconic designer Tinker Hatfield on a new Women in Flight sneaker model. The silhouette takes the iconic Air Jordan 1 Mid as the base foundation and it is meant to represent Title IX, the University of Oregon, and women's athletics.

Visually, the shoe is stark in color with bold touches of neon green that can be seen at the outsoles, the Swoosh on the lateral side of the shoe, and the interior lining. Most of the upper are detailed with dusted teal and Hatfield designs the Title IX emblems that mark the tongue and can be seen engraved onto the wooden packaging as well.
