The Wobble Chess Set Brings a New Element to a Classic Game

The wobble chess set will create an extra challenge while people try to focus on winning the game. Luckily all the pieces are the same and it's just their design and the board's shape that has new, creative effects.

The designer Adin Mumma was inspired by 1970s wobble toys when creating the pieces. The board is still checkered, however instead of a flat surface each square is caved in slightly. To fit the shape, the beige and chocolate brown pieces sit on clear, curved surfaces.

This chic wobble chess set makes the pieces appear to be floating on waves. While the rules of the game are the same, the uneven surface may take awhile to get used to, and you may find yourself making mistakes you normally wouldn't on a linear board.
