Vibrant Privacy-Inspired Chairs

Casamania's Winged Chairs Collection Debuted at Milan Design Week

If you like to have your own space but don't want to be completely segregated from those around you, then make sure you get yourself one of these winged chairs.

Recently unveiled at Milan Design Week 2014, the new collection of winged chairs by Swedish design studio Claesson Koivisto Rune are designed in a way to create a feeling of a "room within a room" when your seated in the chair.

Designed for Italian furniture company Casamania, the new 'Radar Easy' chair collection has four different design pieces in a range of various colors and fabrics.

"The backs create different levels of privacy like a room-within-a-room," says Mårten Claesson from Claesson Koivisto Rune. "The largest and widest back also creates a personal space and silence for the sitter. In a facing pair, your conversation is contained between the two 'radars'."
