The priority of the window house design by FORMZERO was to establish an intimate connection between the building itself and the reserved near-by Malaysian forest. The architects came up with an abstract framework with installed glass panes that were seemingly ambiguous, but entirely design-driven. The body of the building relies on an extra perforated concrete shell for "thermal protection with cross ventilation."
The window house design allows for the interior to not only be exposed to natural light, but to also foster breathtaking scenic views from the inside and to foster a low-maintenance way of integrating plants within the building's facade. As one can see from the pictures, the elevation-varying vegetative components on the window house design make for an effortless natural embrace from an architectural point of view.
