Vans works in collaboration with sock label from Osaka, Japan -- WHIMSY joins the skate brand on a capsule of sneakers that highlight the signature Authentic model. There are two pairs that are reworked for the season in a light colorway option and a darker colorway.
The light option features an upper that splits into two tonal sections with white at the top informed with canvas materials and a forefoot panel with textured details in a cream color. There are also red accents detailing the side tab, the tongue, and the heel. The midsoles finish off the colorway with some baby blue details for additional contrast. The second colorway features a bright neon midsole and heel area with black canvas materials at the uppers and leather at the back.
