Monstrous Shadow Editorials

Where the Wild Things Are by Luca Meneghel Stars Model Aija Kivi

Where the Wild Things Are by Luca Meneghel, a photographer born in Belluno, Italy, and based in Bolzano, is a fashion photoshoot that melds illustrations with the real world. But instead of incorporating the beloved characters from Maurice Sendak's children's book, it focuses on monstrous shadows that are much more scary.

Starring model Aija Kivi, Where the Wild Things Are by Luca Meneghel features the work of artist Norma Nardi. The dark drawings perfectly compliment the all-black wardrobe, which was put together by stylist Daisy Welponer. The Gothic looks were perfected equally haunting eye makeup and a slicked back coif by makeup artist and hair stylist Sabine Gutwenge. The images were shot in the great outdoors.
