Instead of kicking off National Pizza Month with a new pie, California Pizza Kitchen is actually surprising fans with its first-ever burger: the 'West Coast Burger.'
Previously the West Coast Burger was only available to a limited test market. But after a successful run, the burger has now been rolled out nationwide. The West Coast Burger starts with a flavorful patty made from unique beef blend of wagyu, chuck, and brisket. The patty is then topped with Nueske’s applewood-smoked bacon, melted cheese, caramelized onions, tomato, pickles, and lettuce. The whole thing is also served on a brioche bun slathered with house-made burger sauce.
To celebrate the new burger, California Pizza Kitchen is actually boycotting National Pizza Month and rewarding fans who skip out on ordering pizza this October. This means CPK Rewards members who order a CPK salad, pasta, entree, or the new West Coast Burger this month will be rewarded with a coupon for a free seven-inch pizza.
