The Boots Weight Loss Clinics are Rolling Out to 17 Locations

Boots weight loss clinics are being launched by the brand in the UK at 17 locations as part of the brand's initiative to support consumers seeking out in-person weight loss advice and treatment.

The clinics will offer private consultations with a Pharmacist Independent Prescriber who will perform weight, height and BMI checks, while also assessing health and medical history. The pharmacist can then offer access to treatment if they qualify to deliver a 360-degree approach to weight loss rather than only taking one course of action.

Chief Healthcare Officer Jamie Kerruish spoke on the Boots weight loss clinics saying, "Our weight loss treatment services are for anyone whose lives are affected by obesity. For people who are overweight or living with obesity, it can be hard to lose weight through diet and exercise alone. Weight loss treatment combined with 360 support to make lifestyle and behavioural changes, can be a powerful tool in helping people manage their weight and at Boots we are here for every step of our customers’ weight loss journeys."
