Whipped Cream Weather Billboards

This Weather Ad Shows Snowfall Using Whipped Cream-Topped Drinks

The highly creative team at Cossette recently created a McDonald's billboard and weather ad using whipped cream to show highway drivers how much snow will fall at the Whistler Blackcomb resort.

The billboard itself features a cup of McDonald's warm espresso topped with whipped cream. Each day the amount of whipped cream will rise or fall to show the amount of snow that will be topping the ski hills at Whistler's resort.

The billboard not only promotes the hot cafe beverages that are currently available at McDonald's, but it also provides useful snowfall tips for skiers and snowboarders. With the use of digital connectivity, the weather ad uses "real-time snowfall data to synchronize the whipped cream or foam levels on McDonald's espresso drinks to the amount of recent snowfall in centimeters."
