At a time when collectible plushes have evolved beyond the toy shelf to become sought-after style statement accessories, Build-A-Bear Workshop is officially introducing its first-ever wearable plushes: Slushie Plushies. This Make-Your-Own collection from Build-A-Bear Workshop was inspired by nostalgic summer drinks and color-driven aesthetics, turning fan-favorite slushie flavors into customizable furry companions. "We're seeing a real shift in how our guests engage with plush; it's no longer just something you own, it's something you style and show off," said Kim Utlaut, Build-A-Bear Senior Vice President, Chief Brand Officer. "Slushie Plushies tap into that, introducing a wearable format that brings plush into the world of personal style."
Complete with hidden clips, Slushie Plushies can be attached to an optional crossbody strap (sold separately) and styled with Mini Beans and bag charms. In-store and online, customers can look forward to adding matching scents and recorded sounds to friends like Blue Raspberry Cow, Coconut Lime Koala, Fruit Punch Lobster, and Strawberry Lemonade Bear.
