What used to be an old piece of city infrastructure in London England is now a water tower residence.
This unconventional living space was once home to the systems that delivered water to parts of England’s capital city. However, after Leigh Osborne and Graham Voice got a hold of the building, it became a dramatically modern living space.
The 150-year-old landmark was once part of the Lambeth Workhouse and Infirmary in 1877. Abandoned and left without functionality, it was restored and transformed by Osborne and Voice during their appearance on a British TV show called Grand Designs.
The water tower residence had six-feet thick walls and a steel tank at the top. When Osborne and Voice were finished with it, it became a four bedroom home with a clean, modern aesthetic.
