Mountain-Mimicking Energy Plants

The Waste to Energy Plant Resembles its Surroundings

Using the surrounding mountains for inspiration, CL+AA Architects created the Waste to Energy Plant in Italy. The design was created this way to try and bring together the industrial plant and the natural area, considering these two things are usually completely opposed.

This is a great idea by CL+AA Architects considering how industrial plants are normally sore on the eyes and not appreciated by anyone in the area. By trying to make the structure look as natural as possible, hopefully residences won't find too much trouble with it. The real question is whether or not the building is doing its best to reduce emissions produced, instead of simply looking eco-friendly from the outside of the structure.
