HBO Max and Discovery+ Launches the Warner Bros. Discovery

Warner Bros. Discovery is a new streaming service that combines the services of both Discovery+ with HBO Max. It is set to launch during the Spring of 2023, which is earlier than expected, which was originally set for the Summer season of next year.

The new streaming service currently has a combined amount of 94.9 million subscribers with a large quantity owed to HBO and HBO Max. Along with this new Warner Bros. Discovery launch, it will also have its own free ad-support streaming TV service. "As the company with the largest TV and film library in the industry... that allows us to distribute our content in multiple ways," states Zaslac. Notably, an official name has yet to be announced and WBD has started to transfer content over.
