War-Torn Tapestries

The War Zone Carpet by Chebad Abdallah is Explosively Alarming

It seems strange that a traditional childhood carpet has been reinvented into the War Zone Carpet by Chebad Abdallah. The designer Abdallah is one of the four creators behind Cheesecake Powerhouse, a creative studio founded in Berlin. This carpet boasts all of the scenarios of battle and a war-torn city with images of explosions, impacts into buildings, missiles and nuclear reactor melt-downs.

This home decor showcases quite a unique set of images in carpet and in cartoon-esque form. This carpet's presentation of its subject matter is juxtaposed quite purposefully to shock, disturb and dismay the viewer. There are also those out there who would love to see the War Zone Carpet by Chebad Abdallah in their man cave because it's rugged, manly and unnecessarily violent.
