Gothic Revival Editorials

The Wallpaper Magazine 'Stage Struck' Photoshoot Stars Kinee Diouf

The Wallpaper Magazine 'Stage Struck' editorial is strikingly staged. It features an electric blue backdrop that spans from the floor to the ceiling. Like the dark depths of the sea, there is an eerie glow that is out of this world. Model Kinee Diouf is no mermaid, however. Instead, she is a like a restless vampire waiting for the sun to go down. She even sports a gothic revival wardrobe.

Shot by photography duo Suzie Q + Leo Siboni, the Wallpaper Magazine 'Stage Struck' editorial is set to appear in the September 2012 issue of the publication. The masterfully minimalist set design was put together by Robert Storey, who managed to create a dramatic scene with barely anything. The photoshoot was styled by Ursula Geisselmann with hair and make-up by Soichi Inagaki and Natsumi Narita.
