Ghirardelli Has a New Waffle GOOOOAL Sundae for Soccer Season

Ghirardelli is celebrating the start of the World Cup with the debut of its new Waffle GOOOOAL Sundae.

A playful twist on one of the brand's most iconic desserts (the Ghirardelli's World Famous Waffle Bowl Hot Fudge Sundae), the new Waffle GOOOOAL Sundae features a distinctive soccer theme. Each order comes with a dipped chocolate waffle bowl filled with scoops of creamy vanilla ice cream, Ghirardelli's signature handmade hot fudge, whipped cream, diced almonds, a cherry, and a chocolate soccer ball garnish. Guests who purchase one of the new Waffle GOOOOAL Sundaes will also receive a complimentary soccer-themed gift, while supplies last at participating locations. As Lacey Zane, Vice President of Restaurant and Retail at Ghirardelli Chocolate Company, explains, "The tournament brings an incredible sense of celebration to cities around the world, and we wanted to create a sweet treat that felt memorable for our guests."
