The conceptual Volvo Lådan has been unveiled as a new design by Alain Snoodijk that identifies some of the best and brightest features of the brand's previous vehicles with a distinct attention to the future.

The vehicle is characterized by its boxy design that pays homage to the brand's previous models and is event titled Lådan which translates from Swedish to 'the box' to further reinforce this point. The car features expansive glass windows across the entirety of the design in order to let passengers enjoy uninterrupted views of the surround landscape.

The conceptual Volvo Lådan is devoid of a conventional driver's seat which hints at an autonomous functionality and features ample space within the cabin to let passengers spread out.
