Vogue Singapore's Digital-Only Covers are Programmable & Altered by Light

Vogue Singapore only launched in September 2020 and it introduced itself to the world with print and digital covers with plenty of tech-fueled features like QR codes, and augmented and virtual reality content. This month, Vogue Singapore dropped its latest issue with a similar focus on technology—but this with a pair of digital-only covers on the Opensea marketplace.

These NFT magazine covers feature designs created by Metaverse artist and Nike 3D designer Chad Knight, and designer Jamela Law and Lionel Wong of Singapore-based design firm Baëlf Design. These dynamic animated covers, dubbed Triumphant Awakening and The Renaixance Rising, are unique for being able to be programmed or altered depending on the light available at the time of the day.
