Vodka-Tequila Blends

Vodquila a Hybrid Spirit That is Winning All Kinds of Awards

Vodquila is every party animal's dream (or worst nightmare) come true. This beverage, which was invented by an American father-daughter duo, blends vodka and tequila and tastes so surprisingly good that it's being touted to make big waves in the spirits industry. The idea was born when Chander Arora and his daughter Nina were mixing an evening cocktail at home.

The vodka is distilled six times, while the tequila is crafted from Pure Blue Agave plants. The two drinks are then mixed together in small vats before being macerated at a high temperature in order to achieve a smooth, even blend. The drink is so well put together that it won a silver medal at the prestigious International Wine and Spirit Competition.

While Vodquila may sound like a gimmick, the reception it has received from the industry proves that it's a quality product that is here to stay.
