Indoor Plant Illuminators

'Viride' is a Lighting System That Helps Greenery Thrive Indoors

'Viride' is the name of an experimental lighting series from Goula / Figuera Studio that's been specifically designed to enhance the lives of plants kept indoors.

Knowing that natural light is not always abundant in modern interior environments, the studio set out to create a lighting system to give indoor plants what they need. Even though the light is artificial, it is noted that "the advances on artificial lighting today allow [us] to grow vegetables without a single ray of sun."

The designs introducing in this plant-illuminating system include Viride UNO, Viride DOS and Viride TRES, which provide solutions for displaying a single air plant, plants in soil and hanging plants, respectively. Although plants and lamps are some of the first things that people use to adorn their homes, they are often kept separate.
