The Louis Vuitton and Nike Air Force 1 by Virgil Abloh exhibition opens its doors on Saturday, May 21, 2022. The show will feature the late designer’s highly praised innovations, including 47 iterations of the Nike ‘Air Force 1’ sneaker silhouette.

The exhibit will display the footwear for consumers to view in physical and virtual forms. Several large-scale glass installations will be unveiled worldwide to celebrate the exhibition’s opening, including sculptures in Domino Park, Grand Central, South Street Seaport, and more.

The ‘Air Force 1’ display includes magnetized walls and holographic displays that showcase the sneakers performing choreographed movements, which serve to reference the relationship between sneaker culture and hip hop. The exhibition is free to attend and open daily from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
