Midcentury-Inspired Record Tables

Stian Herdal Designed a Vinyl Table with a Wide-Legged Base

Stian Herdal, also known as HRDL, is a talented furniture designer and photographer -- he recently introduced his latest piece, the Vinyl Table. It is a handmade table designed with an organic midcentury concept as inspiration. The table rests on top of a wide-legged stand foundation and has a storage concept made to hold and display vinyl collectibles. The table is a made-to-order design, constructed from oak and Valchromat, which is a type of wood that is resistant to moisture, has a higher durability in comparison to traditional MDF and has incorporated organic dye fibers for consistent hues.

HRDL's Vinyl Table has dual tones and spotlights two main elements -- the sliding tambour door and the two-row storage system and display. The sliding door is made to keep amplifiers, cords or cables out of sight while the storage can hold up to 200 LPs and 45s.
