BHAKTA Spirits has unveiled its latest limited-edition vintage bourbon — the BHAKTA 2011 Bourbon. This release marks the third installment of the brand's acclaimed annual vintage series.
The BHAKTA 2011 Bourbon debuted as a small-batch release of just 11 barrels. The expression presents the brand’s oldest and most meticulously finished bourbon to date. Distilled in Tennessee and aged for nearly 13 years, the limited-edition vintage bourbon undergoes a distinctive secondary maturation in rare Armagnac casks from the 1970s and 1980s, drawn from BHAKTA’s extensive spirits library in Vermont. Bottled at 111 proof with an unconventional mash bill of 84% corn, 8% rye, and 8% malted barley, this expression promises a bold flavor profile featuring notes of vanilla, dark sugar, and smoky oak that culminate in a finish of dark chocolate and citrus.
