This pill, which is the same size as a penny, helps the bowels get moving for those experiencing chronic constipation. Laxatives, which were once the go-to medicine for clearing out your insides, can often be harsh on your stomach. This new approach, is non-medicinal and physically stimulates the bowels instead to get some action going.
The pill is still currently being tested by the department of gastroenterology at Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center in Israel and the researchers just presented their findings this week at the Digestive Disease Week convention in Chicago.
