Veo Unveiled the 'Apollo' Two-Seater City Commuter E-Bike

'Veo,' the California-based company that describes itself as "the first profitable shared micromobility company," announced its first dual-passenger e-bike, the Veo Apollo. One reason why Veo touts itself as one of the first in its industry is that it fully designs each of its micromobility components in-house. The company does not borrow from popular motor and battery manufacturers such as Bafang or Shimano.

The Veo Apollo has a riding scooter-inspired design with a full step-through frame, a long dual-passenger rear seat, and minimal moving parts. The battery, motor, and drivetrain are hidden within the frame under the seat, resulting in a clean, approachable design. The Veo Apollo features a 750W motor and a maximum capacity of 400lb, including the two riders. The Veo Apollo is slated to release in early 2023.
