PUMA introduces a new sneaker dubbed the VELOPHASIS that is unveiled in London with the help of Skepta. The musician wore the shoes when he attended the Casablanca runway show that showcased the Fall/Winter 2023 collection.
The sneakers have a minimal black and white tonal palette and this marked the first time that they made an appearance during fashion week. In terms of the design, it nods to the past with a retro theme that stems from the Y2K era. The upper has honeycomb mesh materials at the base and is then detailed with leather overlays that contrast on top. This also gives it a futuristic look that is inspired by the 2000s running shoes and the brand's COMPLETE series.
