Björn Dahlström Designs the Metal-Constructed VELIT Chair for PLANK

Björn Dahlström designs the new VELIT Chair specifically for PLANK and it is defined by thin metal rods that come together to create the seating solution. When the 25 pieces come together, it perfectly distributes weight to support the weight of a person.

Björn Dahlström speaks about the new design, stating that "I always find it intriguing to use the simple line as a basic building component when I design. It is fascinating to "weave" the lines together to create surfaces or, as in this case, an open structure that represents the seat and back. All this has been done with the aim to create a very relaxed seating position, something a bit laid back to enjoy a good book and a cup of coffee."
