Vegan Wine Pairing Events

TASTE and Sand Castle Winery are Teaming Up for a Vegan Winemaker Dinner

Vegan restaurant TASTE is partnering with Sand Castle Winery for a vegan wine pairing event that will match plant-based foods to different kinds of wine.

At the Vegan Winemakers Dinner, guests can expect to be treated to a six-course menu. Diners will first be served a Portuguese chicken and sausage with Chardonnay Classic and round out the eating experience with a decadent vanilla ice cream sundae paired with Late Harvest Riesling. Although some of the other dishes that will be served for the event include Huli Huli Rib Sliders and Chicken BBW, the event organizers remind: "Don't be fooled by the "meaty names," everything is 100% plant-based and vegan."

Although consumers have come to know that white wine is best paired with fish and red wines match well with red meat, rising interests in plant-based eating have created ample opportunities for vegan food and wine pairings to be explored.
