The face of public transportation is poised to change quite a bit in the coming years as new technologies are implemented, so the conceptual Vectalia 'STREAT' bus has been designed to show off what could be in store. The bus comes in two color schemes and boasts an airbag in the front in order to provide enhanced safety in the event of an unavoidable collision with a pedestrian. The LED strips on the rims as well as on the top of the fender change color in order to communicate its function to passengers and those passing by.
The conceptual Vectalia 'STREAT' bus is the design work of Andreas Grasmück and will provide enhanced maneuverability to make it ideal for use in cramped urban areas.
