The Aston Martin Valkyrie AMR Pro is a Celebration of a Return to Racing

Aston Martin has finally returned to Formula One -- along with Red Bull Racing -- and has celebrated this momentous occasion with the outrageous Valkyrie AMR Pro. The new hypercar uses the Aston Martin Valkyrie as a base, but vastly improves the performance as the AMR pro is capable of 1,100 horsepower and weighs just 1,000 kilograms. The immense horsepower is provided by a re-tuned hybrid 6.5-liter V12 powertrain. The reduced weight was achieved by ditching all creature comforts in the interior and replacing all the glass with polycarbonate. The amazing distribution of power and weight gives the vehicle a 1:1 weight ratio, meaning incredible performance and handling.

The exterior of the Valkyrie AMR Pro was created with a heap of aerodynamic changes and adds even more to the performance of the vehicle. The AMR Pro features a unique front spoiler and a super substantial rear wing, ensuring a healthy top speed of 225 miles per hour. No price has been mentioned yet for the Valkyrie AMR Pro, but Aston Martin has revealed that only 25 vehicles will be made.
