Valentino Fall 2022 RTW Explored a Bright New Pantone Color

Valentino creative director Pierpaolo Piccioli collaborated with Pantone to create a new Pink PP shade, and this striking color united the entire Valentino Fall 2022 RTW collection during Paris Fashion Week. By paring down the Autumn/Winter 2022 fashion down to a single shade of pink, the brand sought to do "more with less, maximizing expressive possibilities in the apparent lack of possibilities."

The nearly all-pink collection focused on silhouettes, textures, and details on knit pieces, sequinned loungewear, suits, oversized tailored coats, mini dresses, and wide-leg jumpsuits. Men and women walked the Paris runway clad head-to-toe in the unmissable Pink PP, which also set the scene for the show with an equally colorful backdrop. The monotone collection was interrupted by sleek achromatic looks mid-way through.
