UNOX Debuts Storytelling Commercial Promoting Its New Vegan Line

UNOX, a food brand owned by parent company Unilever, recently launched a sixty-second animated commercial to launch its vegetarian range in the Netherlands. It depicts a small child whose father works as a butcher and asks her to bring a sausage home for dinner that evening. She spends the day going on an adventure where she comes across a cow with her newborn calf.

The protagonist of the commerical has an epiphany and decides to secretly replace her father's meat sausage with a vegetarian one. While the rest of the family doesn't notice at dinner time and is enthralled with the meal, the father sees the package peeking out the trash and winks at his daughter. The commercial will be displayed on Dutch televions until March 2020.
