Demna Gvasalia Releases a New Special Tee with UNITED24

Balenciaga's artistic director Demna Gvasalia has recently been named an ambassador for UNITED 24, which is an organization that was launched by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy. It is the main avenue for gathering charitable donations to support the country. To celebrate this, he designs a special graphic long sleeve t-shirt. Demna made a personal decision to become an ambassador having lived through traumas himself of being a refugee.

He states that "It is an honor for me to become an ambassador for the UNITED24 platform [...] I know and feel the pain that the Ukrainians are going through very well. I thought a lot about how I can help Ukraine and all the refugees who want to come back home. That’s why I chose to focus on the humanitarian Rebuild Ukraine Direction and its cause. The special Balenciaga T-shirt will become sort of a messenger."
