This Artist Creates Unique Pieces of Jewelry from Trashed Electronics

New York-based artist Marcela Godoy created these unique pieces of jewelry from e-waste. The artist is making use of trashed electronic items by reinventing them as elegant pieces of wearable accessories.

Each piece makes a bold statement with bright colors and over-sized structures. There are a wide range of colors incorporated into the collection such as bright yellow, pink and orange. In addition, each item features a unique clasp that is connected with a USB port or another electronically connected object.

Many of the pieces feature a knot-styled technique that adds a creative rope motif to the necklaces. This creative artist has found a way to reuse non-recyclable e-waste and transform it into unique pieces of jewelry. By reducing waste and giving the trashed items a purpose, this artist has produced an eco-friendly accessory collection.
