Graceful All-Black Abodes

This Unique Home Design is Stunning, Serene and Sophisticated

Imagine waking up every morning to in such a unique home design -- and with such a view -- which is probably not only the envy of your non-existent neighbors, but the architectural field as a whole.

As a city girl, I would never voluntarily pick up my life and choose to be somewhere so isolated from the hustle and bustle of the city. But if my home looked like this desert gem, I would move in a heartbeat.

Designed by L.A.-based architecture firm Oller & Pejic Architecture and Marc Atlan, this stunning unique home design is the first all-black house I've seen. Located in the wilderness of the Yucca Valley, California, this somber and geometrically shaped abode is graceful and elegant.

With the design featuring glass instead of walls, this luxurious retreat is comfortably warm and serenely calming.

"The exceptional quality of silence is unparalleled and the beauty of the dark night sky borders on spiritual. Five minutes from civilization, the site nevertheless gives the sensation of being beyond time," says the design team.
