Designer Umit Benan, who recently took over as creative director of the design house Trussardi, is featured in this Umit Benan Special for Achtung magazine. The feature appears in the publication's September 2011 issue and showcases model Hans Hatt wearing the polished and prim menswear pieces for which Benan is known.
Benan's eponymous label, which is apparently very popular in Japan, centers on sophisticated, classic men's pieces that also have a casual element to them. This editorial photographed by Thomas Lohr displays fashions true to Benan's style, showcasing Hatt in everything from a clean-cut, checked suit and a simple blue button-up and camel pant combo, to a slouchy navy sweater and trouser outfit that could very well be inspired by Benan's Turkish roots.
