Inspired by the artistic interior of Moscow's metro, the Ulyana Sergeenko Fall 2014 Haute Couture collection had a geometric and sporty feel to it. Recently debuting on Paris's runway, the collection had a work-wear feel to it that was complemented with hard, metallic fabrics and colors.
Set against a backdrop of a giant swan -- which was inspired by a famous Russian painting -- the Ulyana Sergeenko Fall 2014 Haute Couture collection stuck to the Russian fairy story style of the brand but with a contemporary twist. The show opened with a military black leather coat and mohair sweaters with the graphic patterns and continued to dazzle all the way through.
The whole collection had a distinctly artistic feel, which was exactly what the collection was going for.
