Beauty Retail Store Reopenings

Ulta Beauty Opens Its Doors with Safety Precautions Set in Place

Ulta Beauty opened 180 store locations recently, with rules set in place to monitor the safety and health of consumers and employees. With the global pandemic, there are a number of precautions throughout the store to ensure that practices are met. Employees and customers are to wear masks when entering the store with bans on product testers to limit any interaction between people.

Instead, products will be on display to showcase the colors of beauty products. Decals on the floor as well as signs are to encourage social distancing with additional protective barriers at the cash registers, with contactless payments and limited store occupancy. Additionally, hair services are only available at some stores and by appointment only with increased use of capes and aprons, additional sanitation, and gloves by associates. Prior to shifts, employees go through a wellness check as an added security.
