Tiered Rideshare Rewards Programs

Uber Rewards Offers Four Levels of Benefits to Loyal Riders

Uber Rewards was recently announced and serves as a new tiered perks program for the groundbreaking rideshare app. Encompassing Uber's rideshare service and food delivery service, Uber Eats, the new rewards program lets users gain one reward point for every dollar spent. The amount of points also increases by two for every dollar spent on UberX, UberXL, Uber Select and UberWAV, and again by three for Uber Black and Uber Black SUV.

The number of points a user has on the Uber Rewards program will determine what tier they stand in, and this will ultimately decide what offerings they receive. The base Blue tier doesn't offer anything to riders, but the Gold tier does extend penalty-free cancellations to 15 minutes and priority support team access. Platinum adds price protection for routes and priority pickups at airports. Finally, Diamond tier gives riders random upgrades to Uber black and highly-rated drivers.
